Hello, hello!
Time for my long overdue updates again. Whatโs new? Letโs start chronologically.
Iโm Married ๐ฐ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐คต๐ปโโ๏ธ
In December, Ermir and I tied the knot. ๐ We both felt 2022 was a good year (and we both liked that it was divisible by two), so as the year was nearing its end, we felt it was important to rush and catch our wedding appointment sooner than later.
We went for a simple, close family-only ceremony at the municipality building, followed by a nice lunch. My dress – and overall look – were kept quite simple; but if I may say so myself, I quite liked the look! I was going for the โIโm getting married in my garden / cottage core weddingโ look, and I think I nailed it. ๐ชท

After the marriage ceremony, I celebrated with some close friends for drinks and snacks โฆ you best believe this is where I shared with them the good news that โฆ

Iโm Pregnant ๐คฐ๐ป๐ผ๐ป
Surprise! Or, maybe you guessed it? Find me an Albanian who gets married in December without being pregnant? Iโll wait. In any case, it is true – I am pregnant! I’d like to save my lengthier first trimester experience exposition for a different blog post, but suffice it to say – we are all very happy about it! ๐ผ๐ป

Here are some pictures from when I told people. I first told Ermir, who was over the moon happy. Then, during a quick family weekend trip to Thessaloniki, I told my mom, dad and Jon that they would soon be grandma / grandpa and uncle. ๐ฉโ๐ฉโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ

I feel a lot better – and am catching a Travel Bug โ๏ธ๐
As I said, first trimester kicked my butt. Now that that’s out of the way, however, I am feeling a lot better. My mom and I just got back from a very fun weekend in Berlin. Since this is our nth time there, we didn’t do much – we had a lovely vegan Thai dinner with Jonida, who has graciously been keeping my master’s diploma safe all this time, and spend the rest of the trip walking, shopping and eating. What more can two three (๐๐ง๐ป) girls want from a weekend trip?
